Hi Man68, I've found that all Lunt solar telescopes, whether it is internal pressure tuner (such as LS60MT that you are inquiring about), internal tilt tuner, or using a front stack have been excellent performers and very well optimized for the task. I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to by "rigor".

The Lunt LS80 optics, used at night, exhibited very very little CA compared with my older SV80ED, which was a very well regarded ED scope for day and night. I believe my older LS80 is FPL-53, based on the minimal CA. Performance of the newer modular scopes should be just as good, if not better.
